Sleep Quiz, Privacy and Permissions
Your choices in your sleep exploration
Updated: 8 September 2026
1. Your personal sleep exploration
This free quiz helps you explore your sleep habits and create a starting plan based on published guidance. Your answers are matched with predefined suggestions. It does not provide a clinical diagnosis or treatment.
2. Who is responsible for your information?
The data controller is Ege Yurtsever’s sole proprietorship, operating under the dose.day brand. Business address: Alsancak Mahallesi, Kıbrıs Şehitleri Caddesi, Aksoy No: 185, İç Kapı No: 12, Konak / İzmir, Türkiye. Registered electronic mail (KEP): ege.yurtsever@hs09.kep.tr. Requests and contact: help@dose.day.
3. What information do we use?
Your age group is used to adapt the questions and suggestions. Alongside the name or nickname, email address and optional phone number you provide, the quiz may include sleep times, habits, your environment and health symptoms you choose to share. Health-related answers are sensitive personal data.
When you join the personal record service, your answers and resulting plan are associated with your record. Information is collected through the electronic quiz form. Only information you share in the quiz is used; we do not access your medical records.
4. Personal follow-up, comparisons and weekly suggestions
Your answers are used to prepare your personal sleep plan, provide the follow-up service you request, and compare previous records with updated answers you may share in future. Previous answers are not assumed to reflect your current health. Recording health-related answers relies on your separate explicit consent. Weekly personalised suggestion emails are a separate choice from general campaign emails. Address ownership is checked through a confirmation email. Once confirmed, suggestions selected from your quiz starting plan are sent once a week for up to eight weeks. Each email includes a link to stop the series. Confirmation, sending and withdrawal times are recorded to apply your choices and prevent duplicate sends. Emails are delivered through Google infrastructure.
5. Campaigns and product news
If you would like commercial electronic messages about Dose Day products, offers and campaigns, you can choose to receive email updates. This choice is not preselected. Choosing not to receive campaigns does not prevent you from receiving your quiz results. Your health-related answers are not sent to advertising platforms or used for advertising targeting based on your health.
6. PDF records and Google Drive
In the personal record flow, an adult participant’s identity and contact information, answers, plan and permission choices are saved as a PDF in the business’s restricted-access Google Drive folder. Google provides storage and technical processing as a service provider; this involves transferring data to Google’s infrastructure. PDF links are not made public.
Using Google services may involve processing or making data accessible on Google infrastructure outside Türkiye. Transfers are subject to the applicable conditions under Article 9 of Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Consent to keeping a health-related record is not consent to transferring data to advertising platforms.
7. Retention, changing permissions and deletion
Your personal answers and report are retained for up to 10 years from the record date for long-term comparisons and the personal follow-up you request. If the purpose or required legal conditions no longer apply, deletion is considered before this maximum period ends. Expired records are removed from the active archive through daily checks; copies in Google Drive’s trash are permanently deleted within 30 days. You may withdraw your permissions and request deletion earlier. Answers in the young participant flow, which does not create a personal record, are cleared when the page is refreshed. A PDF downloaded to your device remains under your control. To withdraw permissions, request deletion or correct inaccurate information, use the personal data request form or contact us at the email or KEP address above. Commercial messages include a way to unsubscribe.
8. Young participants
Questions are adapted for participants under 18. This flow does not collect contact details, create a personal follow-up record or offer campaign signup. Participants under 13 are directed to general suggestions they can try with their families.
9. Your rights and choices
Your rights under the KVKK include requesting information about your personal data, learning the purposes of processing and who receives it, requesting correction or deletion where the legal conditions apply, and objecting to an adverse outcome resulting from automated analysis. Reading this panel alone does not give consent to health data processing or marketing. Your permissions are recorded as choices when you select the relevant boxes and confirm your selections. The notice version and record time are kept with your choices.
10. Measuring quiz progress
If you allow analytics cookies, we count quiz starts, approximate 25%, 50% and 75% progress, and visits reaching the results screen. Question answers, result profiles, names, email addresses and phone numbers are not included in these measurements. A random page-visit code is cached for up to 6 hours to reduce duplicate counts; daily totals by language and milestone are kept for 90 days. Measurements are processed using the business’s Google infrastructure. You can change your analytics permission in the cookie preferences.
